Attend the First Night Market at Centennial ‘Under the Stars’
The Artisans and Farmers Market, located at 13050 East Peakview Avenue, opened in Centennial on July 12. This modern, eclectic outdoor shopping event brings together resident artisans, crafters, farmers, musicians and gourmet food trucks together second Saturdays during the summer.
The next scheduled market opening is on August 9th. “It’s great! I just spent $50,” said Centennial District 3 Councilmember Mark Gotto, in the Centennial Citizen article. “Really, it’s a great event that supports our local vendors. It also is a great step towards bringing both sides of the city together in a fun, family-friendly environment.”
There is something for everyone’s interest at the market. No matter what age, they will find a unique item that will catch the eye of the right shopper. The market has over 40 participating vendors. Event producer Robin Loughran is receiving new people every month that want to be a part of this growing event.
“While this is just our first year, the response has been overwhelming,” said Loughran in the article. “And by the end of the market season, we hope that number passes 50.”
August 9 is the last time the Artisan market will be open this summer. They are planning to make a part of a Centennial summer signature event called ‘Under the Stars’. This is going to be their first night market starting at 6 p.m.
