Town’s Largest Road Construction Breaks Ground
Castle Rock officials are naming this road project, the largest construction they have ever endured. It is a two-mile-long street that gives the Meadows subdivision, west of Interstate 25, an alternative to exit on I-25.
This project is sure to attract new residents, and also make the existing commuters much happier. Although, the road is costing them $65 million dollars it will be worth it in the long run for the Castle Rock community. It will cut traffic in half, along with minimizing time traveled to work or downtown Denver.
Located about a mile north of Meadows Parkway, the road construction will be a determining factor for future residents, as well. Tsiouvaras Simmons Holderness is the lead contractor that will be heading up the plans for this large project. A Greenwood Village resident, he is familiar with the design of the highway system in Denver. To view the map out of the new road go to this link: http://crgov.com/DocumentCenter/View/5235.
The road construction marks a big feat for Castle Rock. Construction is set to be finished within the next year or so! Not only will it make a difference in lives of its residents, but it will open a door way for new ones.
