Local Business Art and Spirits Makes for Fun Night Out

Get your friends together for a night of wine and art in downtown Castle Rock at 205 4th Street. Arts and Spirits allows locals to take a painting class with instruction while enjoying some adult beverages. It is a unique, fun way to spend time with your closest friends whether or not you’re a gifted artist or not.

Bringing something new to her hometown of Castle Rock, Owner of Art and Spirits, Laura Tipton has had fun establishing her locations all around the Denver area. According to the Castle Rock News-Press, Tipton was excited about the new location. “I have a degree in art and loved going to some of the places in Denver and just decided that Castle Rock could use something like this and that it could be a great addition to the community,” she said.

“[The instructor] takes you through how to paint the painting step by step. What the brushes are and how to use them. It’s sort of an art lesson, but it’s a fun art lesson. You’re here to have fun,” Tipton said in the recent article. “It’s a great way to come in and experience it and get a little creative and experience [art] in a fun way rather than in a pressured class-type situation.”

Classes range in price between $35 to $40, depending on the night, and also includes the art materials with a canvas. Participants get to take home their finished piece of artwork at the end of the class to show off. According to the article, reservations are not required and a full class schedule can be found online at www.artsandspiritsllc.com.

The studio can also be rented out for large group or parties; perfect for a date night, birthdays, and even bachelorette plans.
