First Year in Castle Rock; The Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival

Get crafty and creative at this year’s Rocky Mountain Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock. This is their very first time having the event at this location, and it is sure to be a big hit for local vendors and guests. Starting July 10 through the 12th, the festivities will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

 

Partake in some Make & Take workshops, where people can make their own creation with simple demonstrations from professionals. There are also on-going quilt exhibits and a vendor mall to shop the various handcrafted boutique items from local artists.

 

People from all over Colorado are coming to this event to show off their skills behind the sewing machine and more. Learn how to make easy, fun designs at home by attending the festival this weekend. Tell neighbors and friends throughout Castle Rock about the exciting Rocky Mountain Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival that is right down the road.

 

Get there early each day for a chance to win $500 cash, as well as other special giveaways that are being given out throughout the long weekend.
