Clerk of the Year; Castle Rock’s Favorite Organizer
Sally Misare was awarded Clerk of the Year in Castle Rock. She admits to being a little to tedious when it comes to keeping things organized, but it has worked in her favor. Working at the Colorado Municipal for nearly 25 years, she plans on staying for a few more.
According to OurCastleRock.com, her fellow co-workers feel very proud to have Misare on their staff. “She’s amazing,” said Wendy Heffner, Littleton’s city clerk, and president of the Colorado Municipal Clerk Association, the 275-member organization that picked Misare for the honor.
The town clerk’s duties are extensive, they include, but are not limited to: all municipal, coordinated elections; public records, liquor licensing, and the administration of the town’s 11 boards and commissions. Misare has really shone through on all her abilities, and will continue to lead Castle Rock in the right direction!
