Celebrate Father’s Day at a Castle Rock Cookout
With Father’s Day approaching this weekend there are families making plans in Castle Rock. This Thursday, June 15 at noon, join fellow residents and fathers at the Castle Country Assisted Living for a cookout. There will be other fun activities to enjoy during the day, as people reunite and spend time with the seniors.
Celebrate fatherhood by listening to good music, grill out with friends, and have some good ‘ole fashioned quality time with other locals. Located at the Cantril House, 221 Cantril Street, the cost is only $5 for an afternoon of exciting events. The Castle Country Assisted Living is a nonprofit organization that has been serving seniors in Douglas County for years.
The purpose of Father’s Day every year is to recognize the most important man in our lives. Dedicating one day a year to that special guy is important for families to either remember lost loved ones, or fathers that still make a difference. Whether new or old, they are an essential part in making sure that a family stays together.
Bring loved ones along to make this Thursday in Castle Rock a day to appreciate those certain individuals. For more information, or to RSVP, please call 303-482-5552. Happy Father’s Day!
