Castle Rock’s Developing Activity Center Gets Name

The Castle Rock Town Council has officially named the new activity center building that is being constructed at Philip S. Miller Park. The new building will be called the Miller Activity Center, or the MAC.

The signature building at the Town’s largest park construction project will have indoor synthetic-turf fields, an aquatic center, a trampoline room and a toddler play structure. But, how do you fit all of that into a name?,” a press release asked. “With the help of community input, Town Council officially decided to name the building the MAC, also known as the Miller Activity Complex.”

The grand opening of the park, and the MAC, is planned for Oct. 25. For more information and, in the coming weeks, details on grand opening activities, head to CRgov.com/PSMPark.
