Castle Rock’s Annual Starlighting Ceremony Nov. 23

The Starlighting event is a special time in Castle Rock for residents to gather and share this beautiful moment. Tomorrow, crowds will be gathering downtown for the annual tradition. It marks the opening of the Rink at the Rock, and other winter activities for the area.

Beginning at 2 p.m., the celebration will go well into the evening. Please note there will be many road closures heading into downtown on Saturday. There will be plenty of free parking for guests, but are told not to park along the main roads. Don’t forget about the amazing firework display at the end of the ceremony!

This Castle Rock tradition dates back to 1935. The community has been sharing the experience of “Lighting of the Star”, that represents the spirit of generosity and love. Everyone is welcome to partake in this joyous event. It marks the beginning of holiday joy for the whole city!
