Castle Rock Ranks No. 4 on Money Magazine’s Best Places to Live in America
According to the magazine, this year’s list ranks America’s top small cities with populations between 50,000 and 300,000 people.
“Starting with a pool of 781 cities, we used data from Onboard Informatics and other sources to comb through everything from the local economy and housing market to schools and healthcare—more than 50 factors in all,” the magazine explains. “Then, we sent reporters to visit the 35 top scoring places, looking for a sense of community and other intangibles.”
The magazine noted Castle Rock’s booming population, the fantastic school district, community pride, its easy commute to Denver and, of course, the great outdoors:
“Castle Rock has 5,000-plus acres of open space, and the Rockies are nearby,” the magazine said.
Centennial also made the list at No. 13, and the No. 1 spot was taken by McKinney, TX. See the full list here.
