Breast Cancer Charity Gets Donation From Local Company
A local real estate company recently made a donation to HopeFull Hands, a breast cancer charity, after one of the organization’s founders succumbed to the disease.
According to the Ahwatukee Foothills News, Rachael Richards Realty honored the memory of Brenda Keller by donating $3,325 to HopeFull Hands, a local charity that creates handcrafted comfort kits for breast cancer patients who have undergone a mastectomy.
Keller helped found the charity in 2014, and often hosted sewing sessions at her home, the report said. But Keller herself recently passed away after her own breast cancer battle.
Keller’s daughter works for Rachael Richards Realty, and the firm made the donation in her mom’s name so the work of the charity could go on, the report said.
