Ahwatukee Woman Finds Success With Home-Based Gluten-Free Bakery
An Ahwatukee woman is approaching her two year anniversary running a successful baking business out of her home kitchen.
According to the Ahwatukee Foothills News, Melissa Lemme opened “Lemme Eat Gluten Free” nearly two years ago, inspired by her own celiac disease, which two of her children also have.
The business is based out of her own kitchen, where she makes bake-to-order offerings like cupcakes, cookies and pies, the article said.
“Our slogan is ‘from our gluten free home to yours,’” Lemme told the newspaper.
