Ahwatukee Educator Writes Book on Child Behavior
Ahwatukee educator and behavioral coach Tina Schuler has written a book that she hopes will help teachers deal more effectively with students acting out.
According to the Ahwatukee Foothills News, teachers are commonly faced with behavioral issues with their students.
“The purpose behind my book was when I was a behavior coach I was looking for resources to help me in reaching these kids that were struggling with behavioral issues in particular,” Schuler said. “While I was finding some great resources, what I felt was missing was a resource that talked in very specific terms what someone should actually say when they are speaking with a child that is having problems with their behavior.”
Schuler’s book is called “Nine Planks to Becoming a Bridge Builder: Connecting With All Students Through Conversation.”
