38th Annual Kiwanis Ahwatukee Easter Parade and Spring Fling is coming to town
Known as the “largest community-participation event in Ahwatukee”, the 38th Annual Kiwanis Ahwatukee Easter Parade and Spring Fling is coming to town this Saturday, April 19! Get the kids ready and grab your friends for Easter celebration like no other.
For the past 22 years, board member Mike Schmitt has been in charge of the celebration, along with Kiwanis club sponsoring the event for 14 years! Fellow residents, families and friends can get together in one place to enjoy the holiday, with a small town vibe. Watch youth dance groups, and marching bands and local business people make their way down the main street!
Spring Fling is right after the parade at the Ahwatukee Community Center, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a huge party with vendors, craft booths, carnival rides, games, and food and beverages for everyone! There is even an Easter-egg hunt that the children get to enjoy during the whole event, before or after they meet the Easter bunny. Expecting more than 5,000 people, this isn’t your average local celebration. So – get to the parade early because it starts at 10 a.m.
